A YEAR IN PICTURES: DAY 26

About 10 years ago. I bought this frog for Grandma. She had been sick and in a lot of pain. I bought Fred to comfort her and ward off the pain.

One day, I bought Allison a small frog. It was not until Grandma passed away, and Fred came to live with us, that I realized how much alike they were.

Fred now comforts me and keeps my pain at bay. But, it is not enough right now. So today I called my mom. She is my backup Fred. On Sunday she is coming to comfort me and take care of me a few days. 

So today’s picture symbolizes me and my mom. 

Mommy always makes it better.
